I design AI products that feel less like machines and more like good company.

Websites
Prototypes you can click
Hi, I’m Avery. I’ve spent eleven years helping teams turn complicated ideas into things people actually enjoy using. Lately that means AI — making it feel friendly, clear and honest.

made lately.
2025 — 2026
A few projects from the last two years — websites, a mascot and an app, all for teams trying to make AI feel a little more human.

A website that makes AI sound like a person
Newt builds AI tools for small teams. They asked for a website that didn’t shout about the future — it just showed people what they could get done by Friday.

Design lead
What changed
2× sign-ups in month one

Explaining AI agents without the jargon
When Newt launched its AI agents, most visitors didn’t know what an ‘agent’ was. We designed a launch page that explains it the way you’d tell a friend.
My part
Product designer
What changed
3× demo requests at launch

A sidekick with a personality
Nami is an AI assistant for everyday tasks. We gave it a face — a small, curious robot that’s easy to trust and hard not to like.

Brand & illustration
What changed
A mascot people call by name
About
I design for the moment someone opens a product and thinks, “oh — I get it.”

Most projects start with a conversation, not a brief. I like to sit with the people who’ll use the thing before I draw anything.
Then I sketch, prototype and test until it feels obvious — and I stick around after launch, because that’s when you learn the most.
